Fun Days - Racing TARC (Team AVS Racing Club)
The
Team AVS Race Club (TARC) was formed by those Team AVS employees and friends
who were interested in restoring and participating in vintage auto racing.
TARC visits NHIS International Speedway:
In May 2006, TARC took the new race car to New
Hampshire International Speedway. This was the first outing for the car and
over the two day period the weather was great and we had a blast. With Pat
Connors behind the wheel of the modified, we were able to work some small
bugs out of the car and get her "cranking around the track". At
one point, we even suited up Marc Jolly and he got to take the car around
the “Magic Mile” in New Hampshire. The hard work throughout the winter
really paid off for the group. Not only did the car perform well, but the
two day event created smiles and memories that will never fade.
TARC
visits MIS Michigan International Speedway:
From July 28-July 30, 2006 TARC will have the
modified at the MIS 2 mile Super Speedway. This is the same weekend as the
IRL (Indy Racing League). We will have two track appearances on Saturday and
one on Sunday. The Indy cars will practice and qualify on Saturday and their
race will be televised live at 3pm on Sunday. We will tell Danika Patrick

TARC visits TIS Thompson
International Speedway:
On September 2, 2006 TARC will participate in the 2nd
annual TIS Vintage Racing Celebration. It will allow a full day of track
time with Pat in the seat. This is the closest track to home, so we hope to
see many of our friends and supporters their.
