TEAM AVS TO DESIGN & INSTALL SECURITY SYSTEM FOR BLUE CROSS & BLUE SHIELD RI NEW HEADQUARTERS
August 2008: Team AVS was awarded the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island project. This new 325,000 sf, 13-story headquarters office building located in the Capital Center District of Providence will be designed for LEED Silver NC certification. The building will consolidate BSBS/RI operations currently housed in multiple locations, and will be constructed over an underground parking garage. The integrated security solution will not only provide safety for the office space, but also ensure the safety of both vehicles and employees in the parking garage.
